Hallo Rex, wie wird es Dir wohl gehen, da wo Du jetzt bist?

Du hast viele Menschen glücklich gemacht mit Deinen schönen Liedern! Deine Musik ist sehr herzergreifend. Ich höre mir gerne Deine Lieder an und sehe gerne Deine schönen Filme! Für mich warst und bist Du "ein Schlagersänger mit viel Herz"! Schade, dass über Dich nicht immer nur die Wahrheit geschrieben wurde!

So, lieber Rex, jetzt zünde ich eine Kerze für Dich an!

"Legenden sterben nie!" Zur Erinnerung an Rex Gildo!

Heute vor zehn Jahren verstarb in München - an den Folgen seiner schweren Sturz-Verletzungen - Ludwig Franz Hirtreiter, einem Millionenpublikum bestens bekannt als Rex Gildo!

Wer war dieser Rex Gildo, der als Schauspieler, Tänzer und Sänger arbeitete und im Laufe seiner über vierzigjährigen musikalischen Karriere mehr als 25 Millionen Tonträger verkaufte?

Diese Frage ist nicht oder nur bruchstückhaft zu beantworten, und das ist auch gut so! Viel Wahres wurde über ihn im Laufe seiner Karriere berichtet, aber auch sehr viele Gerüchte, Lügen über ihn verbreitet, denen er sich nicht erwehren konnte oder wollte. Behalten wir Rex Gildo doch einfach in guter Erinnerung und verzichten auf Spekulationen und Mutmaßungen, denn die lassen sich ohnehin nicht beweisen. Wem wäre damit auch gedient? Rex Gildo am allerwenigsten! Nein, wir sollten uns an Rex Gildo als einen sehr guten Sänger und Entertainer erinnern, ihn dafür lieben und ihm dafür dankbar sein, dass er uns durch seine Auftritte, Filme, seine Musiktitel, so viel Freude bereitete. Sein Privatleben sollte nur ihm gehören dürfen. Es muß respektiert werden, auch noch über seinen Tod hinaus, denn darauf hat die Öffentlichkeit, auch nicht seine Fans, den geringsten Anspruch!

Rex Gildo hat "deutsche Schlagergeschichte! mitgeschrieben. Das verdient Respekt, Bewunderung und Anerkennung, nicht aber Hohn und Spott!

Ich verneige mich vor dem "großen Rex Gildo" und hoffe, dass er den Frieden fand, der ihm oft zu Lebzeiten verwehrt wurde!

Danke, Rex!, für Ihr reiches, künstlerisches Erbe! Sie sind zur Legende geworden und erfreuen uns mit Ihrer Musik noch heute!

"Rex war der Traummann meiner Jugendzeit!"

Ich bin Jahrgang "55", und Rex Gildo war für mich als Teenager "der Traummann" schlechthin! Die Single "Dondolo" habe ich mir von meinem Taschengeld gekauft und ich habe sie "rauf und runter" gehört! ich habe seine Karriere immer verfolgt, und es tat mir von Herzen leid, zu sehen, wie er sich zum Schluss selbst at durch Alkohol und Tabletten zerstörte. Ich glaube, das sein Tod ein Unfall war, und ich hoffe, das er "dort,wo er nun ist", endlich seinen Frieden finden konnte!

Lieber Rex,

Du fehlst uns und dem deutschen Schlager! Was die Musik anbelangt, so warst Du "einzigartig"!

Ich hatte die Ehre und das Vergnügen, Dich immer sehen zu dürfen, da Dein Büro in München, Hohenzollnerstraße 61, war! Unsere erste Begegnung war die "Hitparade" vom 18. Januar 1969, da fing bei mir alles an. Ich war gerade elf Jahre alt und verliebt! Dein Lied "Dondolo" ist mir nicht mehr aus dem Kopf gegangen! Dann, es war im Jahre 1972 , gründete ich einen "Rex Gildo-Fanclub"! Wir sahen uns immer, immer wenn Du im Büro warst! Es war eine schöne Zeit, die ich weder vergessen kann, noch will!

Rex, Du fehlst uns sehr! Dein Geburtstag und Dein Todestag sind "ein Muß" für jeden Fan, darum bin ich auch zu Deinem zehnten Todestag da!
